Well, here we are once again, me doing the usual grind that occurs before I have to do something important (such as writing my mission farewell). Today as part of my procrastination ritual, I decided to make a blog! (Beats refreshing the facebook over and over again....)
It is currently 12:40 AM and I have yet to start my farewell talk.
This reminds me of junior high.... and high school.... and college... and every talk/essay I have had to write in my entire life. I think talks and essays were meant to be written on the day before it is due.
The purpose of this blog is to share my many mission adventures with you guys! Oh speaking of which, I should talk about that too...
My name is Kelley Valentine. Soon I will trade that first name for the title "Elder."
I am going to serve in the Washington D.C. South mission. I will be preaching in the Mandarin language (hence the Chinese character background).
I am thrilled to get started! I have already finished the main things I wanted to do before the mission (such as see family, go to Texas *wink wink nod nod*, and hang out with close friends). Now I just have to wait for a week and a half.
Yay me.
Well, I best be going now-- I have a talk waiting for me.
Cheers
KPV
